Improve Your Habits and Behavior Within The Next a 3 week period

You can change your behavior over a period of time. A habit can be put in place within 21 days. This means that you can get rid of a bad habit or begin a good habit if you simply implement the 21 day rule. Here are 3 action steps you can take to get started:

Write down the habit you want to change Think about the triggers that make you do or not do whatever the behavior is that you are working on changing. Use small sticky notes around your home and office to remind yourself of what you want to do

This will help you to get started on your 21 days. I have used this method to lose weight, write articles and train my dog. Allow me to explain what I mean in more detail.

When I started my diet I wanted to get rid of my habit of eating when I was not hungry. I would eat cookies and other sweets without even thinking about it. This habit was deep in my subconscious and caused me to gain over forty pounds during a one year period.

I wrote down in my journal that I wanted to break my habit of eating without thinking. I thought about my triggers and realized that I was more likely to eat when I was working from home on my computer. I wrote down notes to put around my house. The notes were on my refrigerator, my desk, my bathroom mirror and my kitchen table. The notes said things like "You are not really hungry" and "Wait until dinner to eat anything else".

The first few days were difficult. Soon I didn't even need the notes because I knew what they said. By the time the 3 weeks had passed I became conscious of my actions and no longer ate mindlessly.

Give this 21 day method a try and see how fast you can break bad habits and start new, productive ones.
